Our good friend Hugh Brownstone started a series of video interviews some months back. This was the first episode.
It goes to show (like Hugh said in the description), it is about the content.
Sometimes we get really wrapped up in gear (shocking I know!), but this is a good reminder to get off your butt and produce good content.
The STORY is king and this is a fascinating look at a really cool story.
“What Were You Thinking?” Ep1: Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photographer Brian Smith
Via Three Blind Men and An Elephant Productions:
Have you ever wondered what a renowned photographer was thinking the moment he or she made the shot? Prepared for the shot? Decided to become a photographer in the first place?
I'm really chuffed to publish the inaugural episode of our new series of shorts entitled “What Were You Thinking?” with Brian Smith. These are casual conversations with wonderful photographers who also happen to be wonderful people – and whom I'm privileged to call friends. Our first conversation: Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Smith (www.briansmith.com).
Special shout-out to the good folks at Sony, who created the conditions for launching this series at Kando 2.0.
Shot on location in Pacific Grove, California May 2018
*Apologies in advance: we had technical difficulties not the fault of the gear, so we've had to do some pretty heavy post. But from where I sit, it just proves all over again that content is king!
