We'd like to welcome D-PRO as a new sponsor on planet5D!

They've recently announced these new products and we're happy to be able to share with you.

I've heard a lot of great things about D-PRO and when I was on stage with Michael Artsis in the Teradek studio at NAB this year, he just raved about the durability and stability of their gear and their friction mounts “save your gear” he said.

These both have to deal with the Convergent Design Odyssey monitor/recorder units, but they've got a lot of other great gear!

D-PRO Inc Via D-PRO Press:

San Diego, CA – (August 25, 2015) – D-PRO Inc. is proud to announce the addition of two new products to its product line designed for the Convergent Design Odyssey 7 Series Monitors/ Recorders: the X-FM-200-OD Friction Mount and the X-ODHL-100 HDMI Lock for the Odyssey 7Q+.

The X-FM-200-OD Friction Mount allows you to attach an Odyssey to a rig using a shoe or ¼”-20 threaded hole. This new mount allows the Odyssey to tilt in virtually any position using micro-adjustable constant friction. The All-New X-HTSM-10 High Torque Shoe Mount is included and will lock into place.

The X-ODHL-100 HDMI Lock is made specifically for the Odyssey 7Q+ and weighs less than one ounce. It attaches to the pre-existing threads on the side of the Odyssey 7Q+ and does not impede any other ports. You can use the Odyssey Sun Hood with it as well.

The lock arm is adjustable to heights between 0.78” and 1.53” to accommodate most HDMI cable heads. The oversized lock arm is adjustable to heights between 2.25” and 2.75” to accommodate most HDMI adapters with an HDMI cable.

All the XTENDER line of products can be purchased directly from D-PRO Inc. or from dealerships throughout the United States. For more information and to purchase XTENDER products, visit www.thextender.com.
