A new take on the tripod plate? Edelkrone Introduces New FlexTilt Head

by Hugh Brownstone1 Comment

The team from Edelkrone is at it again, this time innovating in the space between your tripod head and your camera’s baseplate with the edelkrone FlexTilt Head

Neither a quick release system nor a panning/tilting head in the usual sense, Edelkrone’s FlexTilt offers an additional degree of flexibility and adjustability for DSLR and ILC form factor cameras.

Priced at $99 and shipping to the U.S., Canada and Mexico, visit their web site to learn more.

I'm curious to know what you think after you watch the video… does it float your boat?

We'll of course try to get our hands on one or two to give them a workout.

  1. I saw that yesterday and immediately found potential to it. It’s ery versatile and would have solved a lot of little issues I’ve encountered recently. It’s also super light compared to a bigger head that’ll allow yo to tilt the camera.

I already own several Edlekrone products and the quality and customer service are perfect. I’m going to purchase this plate for two uses : when I’m travelling light with a tripod and a ballhead, this will be a nice alternative and removing the need of a mini tripod, and when I’m using the motorized slider and don’t want to carry the big 3 axis head.
