[icon type=”gears”] Gear!

[x_text]Gear is a fascination for just about every photographer or filmmaker. And everyone wants to know what gear they need to have and what things are planet5D’s suggested tools.
[icon type=”thumbs-up”] While we don’t shoot in every possible style with every possible piece of gear, we do have experience in many areas and can pass along our recommendations!
[icon type=”check”] Our writers have teamed up to give you their best recommendations. We thought it best to let each one show their own set of picks because each one shoots a little differently and shoots different types of film.[/x_text]

planetMitch is unique, and most of you know that [icon type=”smile-o”]
He shoots photos and video – but most of his video is shot for podcasts, screencasts, training, or product demos.
He also spends a lot of time running the site – so if you’re curious about what software he uses, make sure to see that one!

Karin Gottschalk

[x_text]

[icon type=”thumbs-up”]

Karin is a documentary moviemaker, journalist, photographer and teacher who conceived and cofounded an influential, globally-read, Australian magazine of contemporary art, culture and photography.

While based in Europe, contributing to the magazine and working in advertising, she visualised a future telling the same sorts of stories with a movie camera and audio recorder.

Now back in her home base in Sydney, Karin is pursuing her goal of becoming an independent, one-person, backpack multimedia journalist and documentary moviemaker.

Mentorless and un-filmschooled, she is constantly learning and sharpening up her skill set.[/x_text]
