Everyone needs a Complete Timelapse Tutorial right?
I find it interesting because frankly, many people said 5 years ago that timelapse was dead (or at least completely over done), yet I'm still seeing a ton of people doing them and enjoying watching them. So… why not at least put together a series of videos that help you learn in case you're just starting out?
A lot of people have been trying to learn timelapse and frankly, it is easy right? Well, the basics will seem pretty obvious once you've seen the videos below, but if you're just starting out, it may seem like something that is overwhelming.
So when I watched the following tutorial, I found it easy enough to follow and thought I should share. It is especially nice that the team also has some follow up tutorials to help you grow after you get the basics down.
Complete Time-lapse Tutorial: Start to Finish
Time-lapses are one of my favorite filmmaking videos to produce. I created this tutorial for all of my friends who want to help me shoot them and work them up afterwards but don't know where to start. While I continue to tell them it is really simple, there are a few things that you need to know. This is a complete tutorial.
I include the field settings as well as how you'd work them up in post. Particularly I show Lightroom, After Effects and Final Cut Pro X. You don't need to use all of them, so you can scroll through the video as needed.
Here are some of my other tutorials on time-lapses I've done.
