  1. It does not matter what mambo jumbo features Canon brings if the video image is outdated like the huge crop factor in 5D4, ancient and very inefficient/bad codec (5D4 and 1Dx), a crappy HD full of moire, aliasing and bad in low light (most of Canon cameras)etc, etc. :)
The Canon 1Dc was pre announced with one year before it was actually available, I don’t remember you complaining about that either but you are basing Panasonic with every occasion for the Gh5.
I understand you like Canon, good for you, but when you enphase everything negative about any other companies out there but you always find a way of parsing Canon even when they definitely don’t deserve it, makes your site as a Canon sponsored? Sorry but that’s the impression you make.
Prove me wrong in the future please.:)

  2. In the sub-$1000 camera range, the Panasonic G85 is much better and more versatile than anything that I am aware of from Canon, Nikon, or Sony. Weather resistant too. IBIS, 4K with if you want HDMI out, etc……
I agree with Mitch though. Canon does not make cameras for “me”.

  3. “Canon does not make cameras for “me”, and probably also not for the vast majority of videographers that started with a 5D mk2. :)
