The question always being asked is… what's going to be new at NAB?
of course we don't know yet… but interestingly, we've already seen quite a few announcements pre-NAB. I think companies are realizing there are so many announcements that sometimes things get lost in the flurry, so why not get the news out early?
I think that makes a lot of sense. And it makes it a little easier on reporters too
I don't think many of us are ready for 8k video – but it makes sense if you're delivering in 4k to be able to shoot in 8k and downres – but still that adds even more costs on the back end.
We'll of course seen plenty of 4k and even still some HD cameras and HD isn't by any means dead.
What do you expect to see?
We'll be hosting the 2016 NAB LiveBlog of course! Watch for more news here on planet5D.
