Drone Provides a Birds-Eye View of Refugee Tragedy

We can now see things we couldn’t 75 years ago: witness this aerial footage of Syrian refugees as they travel 15o miles by foot on the next leg of their escape from the Syrian civil war. The footage was captured by a drone. But it isn't about the drone, is it?

So: is it OK by you if I don’t write anymore about the technology? Look at what’s happening instead as the Syrian refugee crisis deepens.

Drone footage shows migrants walking to Austrian border

Drone footage over one of Hungary's motorways shows the number of migrants prepared to make the long walk from Budapest to the Austrian border.

For days the government had blocked them from travelling by train, so hundreds began walking the 100 mile stretch of road on Friday.
