Another Jewel from edelkrone: PocketRIG²

by Hugh Brownstone1 Comment

In another installment in our occasional series entitled “The 80/20 Rule” we’re impressed by edelkrone’s petite PocketRIG² for run and gun support.

You can pay three or four times the price of edelkrone’s new $289.99 PocketRIG² for a run and gun style rig, or you can pay even less – but you’ll be hard-pressed to match the value, creativity and engineering you get with every edelkrone product.

I haven’t seen one in the flesh yet, and yeah, I know: sounds like I’m shilling for them. But I’ve put my own money into the purchase of their FOCUS ONE PRO, and I just really like their products.

Still, their original pocket shot didn’t do it for me. But this one looks more interesting.

Guess we should get one in here to try out.

And man, do they know how to make product intro videos!

  1. Sweet. And note the subtle demo starting at 0:44 of the solid repeatability when doing multi-pass shots with their slider plus / action / target module combination. Very slick.
