Never mind that Ronin is an uber-cool name for ANY piece of gear.

What’s really important is that DJI, maker of the highly regarded Phantom photography drone, has taken its Zenmuse 3 axis gimbal technology and dropped it into a MoVI M5 competitor.

And brings it to market at a very aggressive price — $2,999 at B&H and Adorama.

We haven’t gotten our hands on one yet, but as soon as we do, we’ll let you know the scoop.  Footage popping up on the web looks great, and if it really does perform at M5 levels, it’s a game changer.

To be determined!

DJI Ronin offered at $2,999 on B&H
