Rocking 4k video with the Panasonic GH4 at the Monterey Bay Aquarium

What's a new camera without kick butt aquarium video?

Here's the awesome Panasonic GH4 rocking the aquarium in Monterey Bay California (we were there on vacation last year if anyone cares HA!).

Speaking of the way back machine… do you remember one of the very first Canon EOS 5D Mark II videos that helped launch planet5D to the moon back in July of 2009?

Hypnotic Ocean Aquarium filmed with Canon 5D mk II

That post got a lot of views and Jon (the guy who shot it) has over 4 million views on that one on vimeo alone (there's a youtube version too and who knows how many that has!).

While I don't believe this will get anywhere close to that many views, it is cool to watch!

Description

Panasonic GH4 4K ISO 1600-3200 – Monterey Bay Aquarium. I made plenty of mistakes and the thick glass made it hard to focus and keep images sharp. I can tell the compression on Vimeo has made it even less sharp, but you can try to download the original.

[Note: All of the weird pixelation is not in the original file. Download the original file to see this video without all the weird compression artifacts. Also Vimeo does not support 4K only 1080p, so download for the full 4K file.]
