The tweet that got me to the video basically said it all…

I did spot several kinds of cameras doing the shooting… HDSLRs, goPros, and I think one or two Reds (probably the slowMo stuff).

Bob Burnquist’s “Dreamland” – A Backyard Progression

From www.huhmagazine.co.uk/5479/video-bob-burnquists-dreamland—a-backyard-progression

Eyewear label Oakley have teamed up with iconic ramp skater Bob Burnquist to present a new video series called “The Dreamland Series”. Entirely shot at his personal backyard megaramp in Southern California, which is known amongst his friends as “Dreamland” (hence the series name), the first episode is a full-length skate park from Burnquist including never-before-seen footage from 2010. The gigantic ramp includes a huge hip which sends him over a 15-foot gap and down to the 25-foot quarterpipe. Be sure to watch the video through right to the end as Burnquist pulls off some pretty insane stunts with the help of a helicopter.

What’d you think?

I’m not much of a skateboard fan, back in my day we had skateboards with metal wheels! But this is pretty cool stuff… amazing backyard setup! (And my legs hurt at the beginning thinking of all that climbing!).
