Photography Bay and canonrumors.com have both posted this new camera spotting this morning from the Best Buy site… still aparently unnamed – or at lest the Best Buy site calls it the EOS-b, it appears to be comprable to the Canon Rebel T4i – so we’re not quite sure where it fits in the Canon line. But, it is much smaller – 5 ounces lighter. It also only does 4fps burst where the T4i does 5fps – so other than some small differences, they’re pretty similar. The new camera’s price is shown at $799 – and the T4i with the same lens can be had on sale for about $650 – so this is a bit interesting.

Dimensions:

The Canon Rebel T4i specs:
Height 3.9 inches
Width 5.2 inches
Depth 3.1 inches
The Canon EOS-b specs:
Height 3.6 inches
Width 4.6 inches
Depth 2.7 inches

There have been rumors of a new Canon camera somewhere above of the EOS-M and below the Canon Rebel T4i in terms of size and it may be something that the consumers are very much interested in.
