According to canonrumors.com, the king of HDSLRs is dead – the Canon EOS 5D Mark II has been discontinued according to the Canon Japan website. There's no official statement as far as I've found, but the page does look pretty official.
Of course, if you're looking to buy one, the prices have been down lately ($1599 and $1529 – see below) and now, you'll have a much harder time finding them in stock.
We just had the 4th anniversary of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II as well.
