I continue to love timelapses and this HDSLR timelapse of China starts off in a nice way by showing video of some of the people of China and it gives you a bit more of a personal feeling of the people and location before the timelapse starts.
There are some amazingly beautiful scenes and buildings in here!
I found it very effective when the exposures were long – giving a lot more motion blur to the people and cars/boats as they were moving thru the scenes. Some of the photos on his flickr stream are 3-4 second exposures. Notice this one is 1.3 seconds:
