daily planet5D #8 – what took you so long

the behind the scenes on creating the daily planet5D with wirecast. I also go into depth on the problems with episode #4 – and why it took so long to get it online.

A big objective of doing the daily planet5D is to get information out to you but not take a long time doing it. And one of the main advantages of using wirecast is it let's me switch cameras and show desktop while at the same time recording it all in one take – so I should be able to simply upload the episode once I am done (and of course write up some notes). So far, I haven't met that goal – but I'm still learning and trying to share with you what I'm learning along the way.

  1. Hey Mitch,

Try MPEG Streamclip, its a free and simple transcoder. You can change your audio settings to 44.1 plus there is alot of other options. Also Adobe Media Encoder is simple and easy but it’s not free.

  2. What about the Incident BTS, when is that going to be seen? Come on, Mitch, you don’t have anything better to do!!!
