Learn Timelapse e-book Just Released – move from novice to expert in no time

by planetmitch1 Comment

I got an email from Ryan Chylinski on Wednesday for his brand new ebook on how to do timelapse and he sent me a copy of the $14.99 ebook as well – and I have to say, I am very impressed! I haven't even gotten all the way thru it yet, but wanted to get the word out that it is available. He's covered all of the topics from what to do as a beginner all the way thru the expert questions. If there's a more complete ebook on timelapsing, I haven't seen it.

By the way, we've also got a timelapse section on the planet5D forum – plus we'll be adding this to our training guide.

From Ryan:

I'm writing because I wanted to share with you a new e-book that I just finished and I think it might be a great fit for your site. I'm really excited to hear what your readers think.

It's called: Time-lapse Photography
A complete introduction to shooting, processing and rendering time-lapse movies with a DSLR camera

The guide covers the art and science of time-lapse photography and contains both detailed explanations and immediately actionable summaries in a colorful easy to understand and fun to read package. The book contains tons of photographs and diagrams and I'm so excited to be able to say that I used my own shots (with the help of your site over the years) for the book illustrations and chapter breaks.

I've had a ton of fun making the book and producing the associated tutorial videos. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, and answer any of your readers questions about the book.

More from Ryan

Since Ryan is new to most of us (including me), you may wonder what he's like in terms of training and I found 3 tutorial videos on his very complete site – and we've put the first one here if you want to give it a look (tho I will say this, Ryan, the music you're playing over your talking is too loud (I've always been bothered by loud music over voices – i'd rather just hear you talk!)):

Disclaimer: I am now an affiliate for this e-book and was provided a copy for review, but we don't publish this news just because we're getting a cut. We publish gear news because our users have asked us to let them know when we find things that may help them improve their shooting. If you're a gear maker and would like us to publish your HDSLR related products, please contact planet5D
