Thursday, I left home to start an amazing adventure – and I’m going to give you a little tease about it but I don’t want to let the whole cat out of the bag just yet.
I’m in Los Angeles to make a short film with my good friend Barry Andersson.
Barry makes movies. I cover the HDSLR news. Over the past 3+ years of running this blog, I’ve learned a lot. But I don’t shoot as much as I should. I do shoot stuff locally but you guys never see because it isn’t public.
But this time, I’m going to talk about this project as well as work on it.
In fact, the project has been in planning for about 3+ weeks now and we’re both excited about it.
Our intention is to not only make a very cool short with HDSLRs, but to document much of the behind the scenes stuff. And you’ll be seeing all of that after we roll out the short itself. It is going to take a lot of effort to put all that together and it will take time so I’m sorry it won’t come out all at once… but believe me, there’s going to be plenty to see and read!
I’m in planetHollywood (that’s also known as Los Angeles but I’ll pretend it is part of the planet5D world) and several of us from the set are going to be tweeting and posting some photos, but the vast majority of the content will come once we’re done with the short – which we’ve got slated for an early April release. Look for the #incident hash tag on twitter.
So, keep your eyes peeled on my twitter feed as well as google+
Here's a snap or two from the last 2 days of setup before the shoot.
