Mikael Eidenberg created something amazing over a year ago and I just found it yesterday (and I tweeted a small snippet to see if anyone would realize it was a render – nobody noticed that) so I just have to post this incredible 3D render of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. When I first saw it, I couldn't quite figure out why there was so much green tint in the top LCD, it just didn't quite look right. I had no clue it wasn't a real object.
Amazing what Mikael has done! Make sure you see the rest of his stuff – quite an artistic talent. I've written to him but haven't heard back yet.
Have a look at the 360 video below as well!
Canon 5d mkII
I needed a modeling challenge and this Canon 5d mkII became the victim, It took around 2 weeks to finnish and the end result was rendered with The amazing render engine Vray. Modeled in cinema 4d and post in Photoshop.
Don't you think that's just incredible (I keep using that word!) – I'm just blown away by people who have so much talent – and what great tools we have these days!
