Canon let us know about two upcoming free Canon Live Learning sessions involving the new Cinema EOS System, announced last week, and we thought you might like to know!

Special Effects Cinematography with the EOS C300

Dana Christiaansen, Director of Photography on Sam Nicholson, ASC’s short, XXIT, will discuss his experiences with the EOS C300 on the set of this visual effects and green screen heavy production.
Set in the future, XXIT is the story of a replicant who must travel back in time to save the life of the original human from whom she was cloned.
A Canon representative will also provide a brief introduction on the EOS C300, followed by open Q&A. EOS C300 cameras will be available for touch and try during this event.

Tim will also be available for product Q&A, after which attendees are invited to a product touch & try.
Our guest presenter this evening, Michael Cioni, of Light lron, will give insights on EOS C300 workflow that he gleaned from his experience on the short film, Sword, directed by Felix Alcalá and Larry Carroll.
