DSLRcinema has had a very successful Vimeo page in the last 18 months (approx) with contributors from all over the world. We have seen a lot of talent in the form of test shots, home videos, short films, and even professional work being done all with DSLR cameras. DSLRcinema.com got up and running at the end of 2010 and decided to contribute to the film making world by showcasing the talent we have seen from our Vimeo group.

DSLRcinema hopes to run a film contest twice a year. With the film making capabilities of DSLR cameras, it has opened up a world of possibilities and has introduced new talent to the film making world. “Speechless” is the first bi-annual, international film contest. Speechless is the theme for out first festival. Film makers from all over the world, 18 years of age and older, can enter their short film. It must follow a few rules outlined on the festival contest rules page to include a five minute or less film with no dialogue from the actors.

We look forward to many film contests in the future with various themes.

You can read more about it and find the entry form on this DLSRcinema page
