Snehal Patel from CanonBootCamp – planet5D at PhotoCine EXPO 2010

by planetmitch1 Comment

We finally got to meet Snehal Patel at the photoCine Expo 2010 – we've chatted back and forth via email several times and it was really good to finally sit down and chat. Snehal and his team are running CanonBootCamp.com and are offering regular HDSLR training sessions for folks in the LA area.

Their next sessions are October 9th and 23rd. So, if you're looking for some HDSLR training, run over to CanonBootCamp and sign up. They also have a “pro level” bootcamp being offered October 30th.

Snehal is planning on providing some additional materials to our planet5D readers in the future and we're really excited about that – so keep an eye on planet5D for some free HDSLR tips.

I understand the whole rolling shutter issues that Mr. Patel is talking about and why it’s apparent on the 5D/7D but how come this doesn’t happen on traditional video cameras with CMOS sensors?
