For those of you documentary and reality filmmakers, we've just found out about this conference that you need to know about! The Westdoc Conference for Documentary and Reality Filmmakers will be held in Santa Monica, California this coming September 13-15. And, for those of you wanting to know all about how to make your documentary on an HDSLR, Philip Bloom will be teaching an HDSLR Master Class the two days before the WestDoc conference! Kill two birds with one stone.

Oh, and both of these events are now added to the planet5D HDSLR Event Calendar as well.

WESTDOC – The West Coast Documentary and reality Conference is a three-day event that brings together preeminent producers, directors, writers, network executives, agents and distributors for insightful and unique seminars, as well as networking opportunities.

WESTDOC features two areas of professional interest designated as The Documentary Village and The Reality Village. Attendees and speakers are able to take full advantage of both of these arenas and to select seminars from any village they choose.

The third day of the conference is entirely devoted to PitchFest, a rousing live presentation for Documentary and Reality producers to pitch new concepts to network and development executives for potential acquisition in front of a live audience.
