Canon – big at the Vancouver Olympics

We've seen several things about Canon hitting the Vancouver Olympics hard – including planet5D friend Lisa Bettany (@mostlyLisa on twitter) who got into Canon's lens room (see her image on flickr).

Redrock Micro found this youtube video of the Canon Minis – a whole army of them!

Canon's also got a special page where they're showing off the Canon EOS-1D MKIV being used at the Olympics.

And here's a story about the Canon Professional Services center (which is where I believe Lisa was in the above shot).

Canon it seems was also the lens maker of choice for NBC.
(Lake Success, New York–February 3, 2010) Canon U.S.A. Inc. has been selected to provide advanced HDTV lenses, remote-control robotic HD cameras, and a Canobeam Free Space Optics HD video transceiver system to NBC during the network’s coverage of the Vancouver Winter Games from February 12-28.”

I also found this article which features Canon EOS-1D MKIV images – seems like maybe the Canon EOS-1D MKIV is great for sports? (grin)

Thanks to canonrumors for the idea of this post.
