Just the other day, friend of planet5D Guillermo Lecuona sent us this video that he directed and shot for (Fox Sports Design) on the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. It was one of 3 different spots they produced for NASCAR, but this one was the only one done with the 5D2. If you want to see all three, visit their blog.
“We recently were asked to create some new NASCAR spots that would connect emotionally with core, long-term NASCAR fans. For this spot, we shot at a race to tap into the self-contained community that springs up at Nascar tracks every week during the season.”
Guillermo added “I even built the end tag out of elements shot with the 5D. Love your site. Keep up the good work.”
(Yes, I know this is bigger than normal, but I wanted to show it off at the size they chose and to heck with the sidebar stuff… you know what's there already
Thanks Guillermo! We love your work too (and if you want to see some of the other things he's done (including the introduction to one of my favorite shows “24”), check out his gallery on his site – you will find something you recognize for sure!
