Last week at the Collision Conference, I was blessed to meet and sit down for a few minutes with Canon EOS 5D Mark II master Vincent Laforet. He was a real joy to sit down and talk with. I have to admit tho that somehow, just before the interview, when I was nervously setting up (you know what it is like when you get to meet a rock star LOL) for the interview, somehow, I pulled the plug on the Rode Stereo Mic that I had and all the audio was recorded thru the internal mic – so you'll hear a little bit of the IS noise. Sorry!
We covered a few interesting subjects like firmware, Reverie, convergence, Final Cut Pro and oh, the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. After the interview, Vincent gave his presentation, which was really fun, and at the end, we all got to see Reverie on a huge screen. And we were blown away! The Canon EOS 5D Mark II really holds up well on the big screen – don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
If you'd like to watch a larger size, watch over on smugmug
I appreciate Ning Wong and Frank Rohmer backing me up just in case my camera bailed and my thanks to Frank for asking some additional questions.
Oh, and of course, my thanks to Vincent for taking time out of the busy day to talk with us!
Filmed with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and edited with iMovie 09.
