planet5D friend @tylerginter works with the US Army and we’ve been following their use of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Tyler and his team have deployed quite a few 5D2s out in the field now and are getting some great media back. I’ve been planning on putting together a bigger post on their accomplishments, but thought I’d post this quickly to honor one of Tyler‘s team who recently lost a leg in combat.

Tyler posted this on twitter:
“Artillery in Afghan filmed on 5DMKII by SPC Marcy who recently lost his leg in combat. He is an incredible cameraman!”

They’re also taking stills and here’s a photostream of some. Hopefully, i’ll make time soon to make a full post of their accomplishments with the 5D mk ii.
