We continue to find some really beautiful short films and music videos filmed with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Today, we add a few more to the collection.

A long journey in solitude searching for hope.
A film that communicates in a esthetic pictures poetry and emotion, to explore a new experience in Cinemato Graphy.

First clip from an upcoming DVD series I directed for the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art – www.laafa.org
We shot it with three 5D Mark IIs. Lenses were 70-200mm 2.8L, 85mm 1.8, 28-135mm, 24-105 4L. Audio was recorded with G2 wireless into a Zoom H4N.
No real color correction. This was a quick edit that I did to give them something to show at ComicCon. Two of the three cameras were not touched at all in post and the only thing I had to do to the other was reduce the saturation a little.
The images from this camera are great but we tried to get the best color we could by syncing the balance of the colors in-camera by adjusting the white balance manually using the kelvin setting.
This is just a fun video of the impact of high shutter speed:
Frequenzy of the bass strings and high shutter speed of the camera lead to this suprising string-wobble footage.
There is no slowmo applied to the take. Sound is original.
video was filmed with a Canon 5D MarkII , Nikon 50mm lens on 1,8f.
A short film about what makes people happy.
Shot & Cut by Jon Rawlinson.
Produced by Jeremy Aiken and Jon Rawlinson.
The music is “I wished on the moon” by Billie Holiday.
Laval, Pont d'Avesnières entre 20h et minuit avec le Canon 5DmkII.
Today was one of those wonderful days when the sun plays hide and seek behind morphing cloudy curtains.
I went back to the river to shoot another bridge next to the illuminated church.
By midnight, I got lucky forcing my FD lenses into maximum aperture for wonderfull chromatic aberration, coma, awesome flaring and all kinds of lovely optical artefacts from passing cars and city lights…
great music by mindthings, found at jamendo !
