We continue to find some wonderful Wedding and Engagement videos made with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II! It is almost too hard to pick which ones to show y'all. The creativity is just oozing from these. Following up from our posts on senior fusion and this amazing engagement fusion video, we had to show more.
We especially thank everyone who submits videos and tips! Several of this collection came in via the contact page. By the way, if you're into acronyms, “SDE” means “Same Day Edit” – you'll see that in the titles of several of the videos for weddings. You've got to move fast to be able to film at an afternoon wedding to be able to present it the same night at the reception!
Friend of planet5D Denver Riddle submitted this!
Shot with Canon 5D Mark II
Another planet5D friend Patrick Moreau sent us this info about his interesting wedding – not only did the couple get married once, but twice in one weekend AND Patrick had this movie ready to play at the reception that same Sunday!
“Here is an sde we produced in TN this weekend that i thought you might want to share. everything is color graded, it features the 5d on the cinevate pegasus (a slider) as well as a 5d on a steadicam flyer. i think it also speaks to efficiency that we could get this out to show at the reception on sunday night.”
When I asked about the double wedding, Patrick replied:
“the couple had a catholic wedding on saturday and a hindu wedding on sunday. it was so awesome for us to be able to blend the cultures together into one piece.”
we had a rehearsal dinner friday night, a catholic wedding all day saturday, and a hindu wedding all day sunday. this is the same day edit we produced to shot sunday at the reception.
shot mostly with the MKII with lots of primes.
used the pegasus and steadicam flyer for movement, and the cinevate 5d rig for support on the 5d.
shot in 30P due to timing issues to get the 24P conversion.
the garba and reception footage is 5D on the flyer.
We found this one filmed with 7 (yes, that's seven) 5D mk iis! “This wedding was shot with 7 Canon 5D mark II cameras to do all the photo and video.” more info on wayne yuan's site (includes lots of stills)
this is a stillmotion special edition sde featuring ‘the romanator' // ray roman from ray roman films, as well as ‘KC' // casey warren from mindcastle.
check out the epicness of their first look on a rooftop in downtown NY.

A super engagement vid:
The following slideshow was shot around Toronto, Canada, using the new Canon 5D mk II. Video clips and still images are combined in this unique production. Shooting began at Toronto's Harbourfront (including a stop at the Westin Harbour Castle), continued to BCE Place (just outside the Hockey Hall of Fame), under the Royal York hotel and concluded at Union Station.
