21st Century Road Movie – Shot with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Yesterday, I ran into this nice little Canon EOS 5D Mark II movie that I needed to share. It is from MacVideo.tv. It isn't so much that it is a ‘movie', but it is more of a review/report about the features of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. It includes the author's personal joy over the camera's video features and some samples, as well as interviews of vendors (including Canon) at the recent NAB conference. It is worth a watch.

MacVideo.tv writes in the story:
“21st Century Road Movie, filmed in Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and New York, takes us on a journey, testing the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, seeing what it can do, a good look at the footage, and hearing from those who know what the camera is capable of.”

Warning, have some time set aside LOL – the video is about 25 minutes long (tho the Grand Canyon section is a bit extended). It is interesting tho and there are lots of interesting tidbits along the way. One that I've heard but didn't have confirmation is that there's a TV show pilot that was filmed and about 50% of the final production was Canon EOS 5D Mark II material! I still hope to have a story on that in the near future.
